presentation for induction

Presentation of introduction I would have to say that the analysis research in the beginning of the term was highly constructive and helpful because it gave me a glimpse or an insight [an introduction] on different elements of media and what it requires for example the textual analysis required subject terminology such as Mise on scene, ranges of camera shots and different angles on which the film should have. This inferred to me that media requires an explicit amount of detail and that there is an art to media, every scene and camera shot has a purpose or aim towards the audience. To further continue the pre-production process could not have been more helpfully or insightful for me as it was an excellent, and the most effective, educational way to learn Media. I experienced how to use the camera and how it could create a piece of creative material. The preproduction process for me was the most productive and helpful part of the introduction process as I gained experience on how ...

Phone vibrates and person pulls out phone, on the notification screen a text message by the following is said “Tick tock goes the clock, And all the years they fly, Tick tock and all too soon, You and I must die”. This is going to be recorded by hand whilst zoomed in. A midshot should be done of the persons reaction in shock, fear and confusion and runs to the nearest exit. Person pulls on the door and the door is locked, headshot now happens and the audience finally are about to see what the person saw (music b...

Induction - Textual analysis level 2 btec media

Subtitle: level 2 media textual analysis Media textual analysis Analysing death note Death note - Film (Netflix) Media textual analysis From analysing 5 minutes of the thriller horror movie death note, I have analysed that the extract has continuous Mise en scene changes. This can be seen in the beginning of the film where we see the establishing shot as the city [Seattle], thus changing to a different setting showing us a high school in which the established shot changes, settling in a playground. Furthermore the visual aesthetics of the scene continuously changes, for example, in the beginning of the scene the camera purposely changes to a low angle shot to portray to the audiences that the boy is inferior to the bully, this is presented by the low angle shot, aiming the camera to the boy may also convey that the producer wants to present the character as less powerful and portray him in the eye of the audience as the typical victim of hostile high school life. Fur...
